Big Day

Darrens parents come in tomorrow and David is so excited. He kept asking in church yesterday if they could come on Monday instead. LOL
As some of you have seen we had some nasty winds fly through here a few days ago. It got really ugly but thank God everything around us was ok. Maybe a few downed branches but I think that is it. Jake went fishing with the neighbor boys earlier that day and ended coming home later than planned and with the storm coming I got real worried about them. He got home right in the middle of the storm.
Not too much else going on around here. Im just cleaning and getting Tylers room ready for company. We have a very busy week coming up. Hopefully Darrens parents will see that and want to move here...
David still loves his new haircut and he looks so cute with it. Tyler gets braces on the 23rd. He's excited ~rolls her eyes~. He's not paying for it..LOL

Assume the Position

Need I say more?

Snip Snip uurrgggg.... BUZZ

I finally made David n appointment to get his hair cut. Boy did he need one! Although if I'da known he was just going to get a buzz I could have done it myself. We were trying for a high-n-tight but his hair lays so crazy. I will miss his long hair. But as I was tucking them into bed last night he was sitting there with the Happiest look on his face. And says " Mom I REALLY like my new haircut, I look soooo cool". LOL

Sun rays

I was looking thru my cell phone pics and I got this one of Jenny the other night on the way to the lake. I was hoping to get a good one with her lips and ears up. But instead I got sun rays instead. Which I think is totally awesome!

Popcorn and a movie

Today has been a crappy rainy day. We haven't been doing much since VBS is over. Man O'man that was a busy week. I am so glad it's over. But I miss being busy. Seems like we sit home or do errands and then every evening is baseball. Games , practices or both. The boys have also been doing more fishing. I think it's thier new addiction although I wish the base lake was closer. We have been taking Jenny and she taught herself how to swim the other night.

Calgon take me away

Well, I have one day down and five more to go of our insane schedule. Vacation Bible School started today. I got suckered into taking pictures again for it this year. And the boys really look forward to being with thier friends. Every night this week we have baseball of some sort. Tomorrow Tyler has a dentist appointment and we find out more about the braces they're going to put into his head... all I see is $$$$$$$$$$ signs. I sure hope the school district would call telling me that I have a job for next year. I have a feeling Jacob will be in braces by the end of next school year too. I hope to blog more during the week but don't know if I will be able to. I have to edit a gazillion pictures and make a power point. Hopefully I will have a powerpoint to share with everyone too so you can see what we did all week.'
G'nite.

Go Fish

Well today I decided to take the boys to the lake. I had it all planned out. My goal was to do Father's Day pictures for Darren. But as you can see there's only TWO kids in this picture. I wasn't getting full co-opperation. The wind was blowing and blew Davids hat into the water. Tyler litterally fished it out. A few minutes after this photo was taken I turn to see Jacob catching his hat. And it dawned on me he was just standing there with nothing in his hands. Well as he caught his hat he managed to drop his pole in the lake. Well I told them if they dropped it they had to fork up $10.00 or go fetch it. Jake slipped off his clothes down to his shorts (which he was still wearing under the overalls) and in he went. LOL HE got his pole and got to go swimming too. Although he says "it's really cold". And couldn't wait to get dressed again. After having way too much fun on the docks the boys n I decided to drive to the other side and there they managed to catch some fish. ... I do plan to try to redo the pics with all 3 boys. Next time we will go and just pretend to fish I think.
